i am wondering what the fans think of this game. i’d imagine cardinals fans would sacrifice their first born and comfortable phoenix winters to witness their squad in their first championship game in 60 some years, as well as a first ever trip to the super bowl. but pittsburgh has fans tucked in every crevice of america, so i’m expecting to see more terrible towels slither into the stadium than bird paraphernalia.

2 things.
1. Apparently the creator of WordPress is from Katy. Did not know that until Mama B shot out an email about that this week.
2. Are they still allowing this game to be played? Not that I think it will be a blowout, it’s just that there were 6 other match ups during the playoffs that paired off more exciting teams. This isn’t a knock on AZ, as I’d actually rather watch them than the Steelers. The Steelers couldn’t beat the Eagles, but the Skins did twice, not to mention the Skins took card of the Cardinals as well. The Redskins are really the Champs, put it on the boooooooooaaaaaaaaard!
wow, lots of action coming out of katy. lots of high school football championships, a vtborchdog, rene zellweiger (not sure how that is spelled nor do i want to take time to look it up), and some other good things.
yep, the skins are having a solid postseason. i think they are already hoisting the banner up at fedex as i type. not sure when the championship parade will peddle the streets of dc however.
lots of booze and wings will make any superbowl a good one. if not, maybe drinking the boiling deep fryer oil will make me forget who’s playing in this game.

vtporchmonkey - Get over DC sports - your skins haven’t had a chance at a Superbowl since steroids started being monitored in the players. Actually, your Brownies have a better chance at winning 8 games next season than the Skins making the PLAYOFFS. I predicted the Redscabs to start bleeding again right at the half way mark….I told one Disereau that, “Skins will start their mid-year break down against the Steelers.” God you must love the Black and Gold. I have my opinion and I HATE the skins with a passion. Not sure if its because I lived in DC for so many years and had to read all the crap the Post puts out or if its because Dan Snyder has proved time and time again that you CANNOT buy your way to a Super Bowl.
if wordpress didnt take so long to hook a brother up with a password, I would have given you my prediction on this game. I would have predicted a 56 - 6 Steeler victory! Before the game was played, I did anticipate a game changing defensive play (James F*cking Harrison), did expect Ben to play well, expected Ward to Play, did not expect Holmes to get the MVP, but he did deserve it - could have gone to Ben too for driving the Steelers with under 2 minutes. I expected Warner to choke when it mattered most…which he did and didn’t. Expected Larry to be shut down (double coverage of Troy and Taylor), which he was for 3 qtrs. A W is a W no matter how you look at it.
